At times it gave me better framerate, but in areas that did not improve framerate it did smooth out any stuttering and freezes i used to get constantly. I was proven wrong after multiple Google searches to find Optifine being one of the top solutions to get better/smoother frame rate. Optifine, i thought was an advanced graphic mod, not for performance gain, but for graphic enhancements. I have been trying to find ways to improve my performance within minecraft for some time now.
